The nest belongs to a Blue Heron couple. It sits mostly undisturbed for the birds to raise their chicks.
The neighbor humans watch the chicks hatch as they are raised to juvenile status. Eventually one or more of the junivials can be seen fishing in the shallow water on the Tred Avon River.
